January 5, 2017 — On December 15, 2016 several Success Path employees took a tour of the Huntsman Cancer Institute and Hospital (HCI). Success Path is proud to partner with one of the leading cancer institutes in the world, and were excited to get a closer look at the positive difference that HCI is making in people’s lives.
“It was so wonderful to have members of the Success Path team join us for a tour of the work being done here at Huntsman Cancer Institute,” said Huntsman Cancer Foundation Director of Events, Jen Murano-Tucker.
“We are so fortunate to have such an amazing partner helping us to fuel research. Success Path and their employees truly understand what it means be powerful forces for positive change.”
HCI fulfills dual vital functions in both providing state of the art hospital and patient care services as well as leading the world in cutting-edge cancer research. HCI has hosted over 125,000 outpatient visits and provided over 1,200 genetic counseling consultations. On the research side, HCI has 200 clinical trials open at any given time and 162 faculty research teams investigating all aspects of cancer.
Our team members really walked away with a greater appreciation for the important work that HCI does and the positive impact our partnership has on helping HCI accomplish its mission. “Visiting the Huntsman Center was such an eye-opening experience,” said Kate Goral in Digital Marketing. “Every aspect of the facility had meaning for the patient and the patient’s family.”
Success Path looks forward to working with HCI even more in 2017 as they get ready for the opening of their Primary Children’s and Families’ Cancer Research Center and 220,000 square foot expansion that will double their research capacity.
